ACUVUE® ADVANCE™; with HYDRACLEAR™; Extends Its Power Range
London, U.K. – 17th May 2005 – ACUVUE® ADVANCE™; Brand Contact Lenses with HYDRACLEAR™; are now available in an extended power range, which goes from -0.50 to -12.00 and from +0.50 to +8.00 in both base curves: 8.3mm and 8.7mm.
The introduction of this new range of extended powers, which will be available from 1st June 2005, means that ACUVUE® ADVANCE™; with HYDRACLEAR™; can now be selected as a first fit for almost all suitable patients, providing the option of an ULTRA COMFORT SERIES™; lens right from the start. Last year it was reported that nearly half of all ACUVUE® ADVANCE™; with HYDRACLEAR™; fits were new or lapsed wearers, therefore providing Eye Care Professionals with a lens that not only offers patients long lasting comfort and an extended power range, but also one that helps them to grow their contact lens business.
Since its launch in May last year, ACUVUE® ADVANCE™; with HYDRACLEAR™; has already become one of the most fitted reusable contact lenses, offering patients extraordinary all day comfort at great value.
